Even the little children can feel the pressure with extra running
around for shopping; practice, performance and/or attendance at
holiday events, purchasing the right presents, being happy around
visiting family, and all while staying on their best behavior - day
and night, a big chore for those waiting for Santa.
This section of our holiday magazine is reserved for special
greetings of cheer, wisdom and encouragement from a few of our
community leaders.
We hope you'll take a few moments to relax and know you are being
thought of by these special people.

even touched. They must be felt within the heart.” Helen Keller
From the Mount Pulaski community to yours, may your hearts be filled
with the wonderful joy that volunteering brings; may that joy spill
over and be felt within the hearts of many others this Holiday
Season!
Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

The most desired wish that I have for our community is to have
respect. We can dramatically lower crime in our community by having
respect for each other's person, property, and beliefs. Have a safe
and respectful holiday season!

There are many rules to live by in life, but the rule I find most
fulfilling is the “golden rule.” If we all show common courtesy,
respect and a caring attitude toward others in a manner that we
would want to be treated, it’s amazing how the environment around
you can change. If everyone lived by this rule, the world would
become a much more pleasant, safer and productive place!
Make it your goal to live by this rule and you’ll be amazed how
fulfilling your life can become and how much more people will
appreciate you. Don’t be discouraged by others who are negative or
refuse to live by this rule for they typically find life
unfulfilling. Just remember that it all starts with you! You can
make a difference!
Best wishes for a warm holiday season and a safe, prosperous and
healthy new year!
