This is the second time the Logan County Department of Public Health (LCDPH) home health agency has received the award in the past two years. This award is presented to home health agencies that have demonstrated superior performance in patient satisfaction for year 2014.

Don Cavi, Public Health Administrator at LCDPH stated “This award is well deserved and is credited to the outstanding effort that Melodye Crabtree and her staff put forth to assure patients receive the best care possible. Their commitment to excellence is an asset to the program, the agency and the citizens of Logan and surrounding counties.”

Based on overall patient satisfaction for year 2014, the LCDPH, Home Care of Central Illinois has been named a national “best practice” agency. Agencies named as national best practice agencies are proven leaders and have excelled in one of the most important measures of an agency quality program – patient satisfaction, according to Fazzi.
