NHL roundup: Jagr scores 732nd in Panthers' win

[December 21, 2015]  SUNRISE, Fla. -- Aleksander Barkov got the winning goal in a shootout as the Florida Panthers outscored the Vancouver Canucks 5-4 on Sunday at the BB&T Center.

Jaromir Jagr posted a goal and an assist for the Panthers and now has 732 career goals, which moves him past Marcel Dionne for fourth place on the NHL list, nine goals behind Brett Hull in third place.

Shawn Thornton, Vincent Trocheck and Aaron Ekblad also scored in regulation for Florida.

Jannik Hansen, Sven Baertschi, Derek Dorsett and Daniel Sedin scored for the Canucks.

Lightning 5, Senators 2

TAMPA, Fla. -- Mike Angelidis picked the perfect time to score the first goal of his NHL career, and a late penalty kill from Tampa Bay stood up in a win over Ottawa.

Steven Stamkos scored twice, and Alex Killorn and Nikita Nesterov scored one each for the Lightning.
 


Zack Smith and Erik Karlsson scored the goals for the Senators.

Bruins 2, Devils 1

BOSTON -- Ryan Spooner scored the decisive shootout goal to give Boston a victory over New Jersey at TD Garden.

Jonas Gustavsson made 29 saves in net and Loui Eriksson scored in regulation for the Bruins.

Cory Schneider stopped 38 shots and Andy Greene scored for New Jersey, which dropped its third straight and fourth in five.

Red Wings 4, Flames 2

DETROIT -- Scoring three consecutive goals in the second period helped Detroit defeated Calgary at Joe Louis Arena,

Dylan Larkin, Brad Richards, Gustav Nyquist and Justin Abdelkader scored for the Red Wings, who broke a three-game losing streak. Petr Mrazek made 26 saves.

Dennis Wideman and Dougie Hamilton scored and Karri Ramo made 31 saves for the Flames.

Capitals 7, Rangers 3

NEW YORK -- Marcus Johansson and Justin Williams' three-point efforts sparked Washington to a rout of the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.

Evgeny Kuznetsov, TJ Oshie, Alex Ovechkin and Jason Chimera scored for the Capitals and Braden Holtby made 33 saves.

J.T. Miller, Chris Kreider and Dan Boyle scored for the Rangers while Henrik Lundqvist and Magnus Hellberg combined to allow seven goals on 30 shots.

Blackhawks 4, Sharks 3 (OT)

CHICAGO -- Jonathan Toews scored in overtime to lift Chicago over San Jose.

Patrick Kane scored a goal and assisted on Toews' game-winning goal. Artem Anisimov and Andrew Shaw also scored as Chicago won its third consecutive game.

Joonas Donskoi tallied a goal and an assist while Tommy Wingels and Joe Pavelski also scored for the Sharks.
