[February 08, 2015]  LINCOLN - LINCOLN-Edwin Dahmm, 74, of Lincoln, passed away at his home at 2:05 a.m. February 6, 2015.

Services have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.

Visitation: Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Lincoln

Service: Thursday, February 12, at 10 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church.

Obituary

Edwin P. Dahmm, 74, of Lincoln, passed away at his home at 2:05 a.m. February 6, 2015.

Edwin was born February 25, 1940 in Lincoln, the son of Paul and Bertha Otte Dahmm. He married Janet Klemm July 8, 1978 in Lincoln. She survives in Lincoln.

Edwin is also survived by two sons: Andrew (Joan) Dahmm; Benjamin (Brandy) Dahmm, both of Beason; and grandchildren: Joseph, Sarah, Jaclyn and Lauren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Edwin served in the U.S. Army, was a retired farmer in the Beason and East Lincoln area; served on the Farm Service Board for 19 years; the Chester East School Board; Logan County Fair assistant superintendent for the Junior Shows; was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Lincoln and held various church leadership positions, and was on the Regional Board.

Services will be Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Lincoln with Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. Burial will be in New Union Cemetery following the service with full military rites accorded by Lincoln American Legion Post #263. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the church. Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln handled the arrangements.
