Lady Toppers win first game in regionals

[February 10, 2015]  MASON CITY —  The Lady Toppers defeated Decatur Christian 49-35 Monday night in regional action in Mason City.

Lilly Pickett led the Toppers with 16 points, and Alec Hayes and Alyssa Bridge each contributed 10 points. Breanne Rentmeister had 7 points and Julia Beccue scored 6 for the Lady Toppers.

Mount Pulaski will play Lewistown tonight at 6 p.m. in second round action back at the Illini Central gymnasium.
