[February 11, 2015]  Feb 10 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Tuesday's National Hockey League games:

Canadiens 2, Flyers 1 (OT)

David Desharnais scored the overtime winner to lift the Montreal Canadiens to a win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Goaltender Carey Price stopped 23 shots for Montreal, while Philadelphia's netminder Ray Emery made 39 saves.

Philadelphia's Matt Read snapped a 25-game goal drought to get the scoring started before Montreal answered with two goals.

Predators 3, Lightning 2 (OT)

James Neal tallied his 18th goal of the season at 4:27 of overtime, lifting the Nashville Predators to a victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Nashville had a 2-0 lead but Tampa Bay tied it in the third period on goals by Brett Connolly and Nikita Kucherov who notched his 21st of the season.

Islanders 3, Oilers 2

Casey Cizikas scored the tie-breaking goal with 4:37 left as the New York Islanders edged the Edmonton Oilers.

Matt McDonald and Josh Bailey also scored for the Islanders (35-18-1), who extended their Metropolitan Division lead over the idle Pittsburgh Penguins to three points.

Jaroslav Halak made 34 stops in the win.

Rangers 5, Maple Leafs 4

Mats Zuccarello scored his second goal of the game at 14:04 of the third period to snap a tie as the New York Rangers defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Derick Brassard and defenseman Marc Staal each added two assists for New York.

Blues 2, Coyotes 1

Dmitrij Jaskin's goal midway through the second period broke a 1-1 tie and gave the St. Louis Blues a victory, that snapped a three-game road winning streak for the Coyotes.

Panthers 6, Ducks 2

Jonathan Huberdeau had a career-high three assists as the Florida Panthers routed the Anaheim Ducks.

Anaheim (34-14-7), who lead the Pacific Division, lost their third successive game.

Goalie Roberto Luongo earned the win for the Panthers (24-17-11), making 31 saves.

Stars 5, Bruins 3

Vernon Fiddler and defenseman Trevor Daley both scored while Dallas goaltender Kari Lehtonen made 41 saves in the Stars' victory that was sealed when left winger Erik Cole's long clearance rolled into an empty net with 32.8 seconds left.

Senators 2, Sabres 1

Milan Michalek scored with 7:45 remaining to lead the Ottawa Senators to a victory over the Buffalo Sabres.

Defenseman Erik Karlsson also scored for the Senators, who snapped a three-game losing streak. Goalie Robin Lehner made 34 saves for Ottawa.

Jets 2, Wild 1 (OT)

Dustin Byfuglien scored late in overtime to lift the Winnipeg Jets to a triumph over the Minnesota Wild, who had won their previous six games.
