[February 13, 2015]  McLEAN - Mr. Tony E. Gordon, 62, of McLean, died at 5:35 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015.

Visitation: Prior to the Celebration of Life, Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McLean Christian Church.

Celebration of Life Service: Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Church

Funeral home: Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta

Obituary

Mr. Tony E. Gordon, 62, of McLean, died at 5:35 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the McLean Christian Church. Mr. Tony Billingsley will officiate.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.

Cremation Rites have been accorded.

Tony Eugene Gordon was born on May 14, 1952 in Effingham, the son of Rex and Dorothy Horath Gordon. He was united in marriage with Laura Walters on December 7, 1979. She survives.

He is also survived by their children: Gabriel C. Gordon of Springfield, Shadd E. (Kristin) Gordon of McLean, and Kody (Chad) Hill of Atlanta; his father, Rex of McLean; one sister: Sandy (Randy) Williamson of Kenet, MO; eight grandchildren: Ryan and Sofia Gordon; Makayla, Mikenna and Kierra Hill; Cole Gunterman-Goforth, and Tylar and London Gordon; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Director

Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy; one brother, Alan "Butch" Gordon; and one nephew, Les Gordon.

He was a lifelong member of the NRA and loved hunting. He was a former member of ABATE. Tony was Fleet Manager for Isaacson Concrete and Excavating.

Memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta.
