DAR to be special guests at Wednesday Woman's Club

[February 15, 2015]  The Abraham Lincoln Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution members will be guests of the Lincoln Woman's Club for a 1 p.m. tea and meeting Wednesday at the Woman's Club Building, 230 N. McLean Street in Lincoln.

Guest speaker for the joint meeting will be Angela Stoltzenburg of the Healthy Communities Partnership. 

Greeters will be Ellen Dobihal and Nancy Wrage with Marilyn Armbrust, Becky Cecil, Sandy Aper and Pat Purseglove, hostesses. Devotions will be given by Karen Lowery.

 

Business will include a report by the Woman's Club nominating committee.

A book exchange is planned.

Members are asked to bring nonperishable items, personal hygiene items and/or laundry supplies for the Lincoln/Logan Food Pantry.

Those attending are asked to wear red in observance of Heart Month.
