[February 17, 2015]  LOGAN COUNTY - The following colleges and universities have submitted news of Dean's List accreditation for students from the Logan County area

Des Moines Area Community College

Des Moines Area Community College President Rob Denson recently released the names of students eligible for the Fall Semester President’s List. To be eligible, a student must have earned a 4.0 grade point average.

Recognized from the Logan County area - Kristine Apel of Beason, field of study - Mortuary Science

MacMurray College in Jacksonville

Collin Antoine, of Lincoln, IL, was named to the Dean’s List at MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL, for the fall semester 2014.

The 2014 graduate of Lincoln Community High School is a freshman double-majoring in homeland security and criminal justice. He is the son of Peggy and Ed Antoine of Lincoln.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours have a 3.5 grade point average and be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours.

University of Illinois Springfield

The University of Illinois Springfield recently released the names of students eligible for the Fall Semester President’s List. To qualify for the designation, a student must be an undergraduate who took at least eight graded semester hours and maintained a grade-point average of at least 3.75 for the semester.
