[February 19, 2015]  LINCOLN - Did you know that Habitat for Humanity-Logan County operates a warehouse selling construction materials, furniture and appliances? All items have been donated; most are used, but a few items are new.

The warehouse offers construction items such as doors, windows, electrical and plumbing supplies, as well as bathroom/kitchen cabinets and sinks/faucets. Furniture items include: entertainment centers, dining sets, desks and small household appliances. Washers, dryers stove, refrigerators and dishwashers are routinely available.

Other items available include paint, carpet remnants, fireplace inserts, wood flooring and ceramic tile. Inventory at the warehouse changes weekly if not daily and some items are available in limited quantities.

The Habitat for Humanity warehouse is located at 915 Woodlawn Road in Lincoln. The warehouse is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM. If you are interested in donating materials to Habitat for Humanity-Logan County, please contact the organization at 732-6412 to schedule a drop-off time.

All proceeds from the warehouse are re-invested in the local Habitat for Humanity Program. Habitat for Humanity’s goal is to provide decent and affordable housing for those individuals and families unable to secure it through more traditional means.
