[February 20, 2015]  Feb 19 (The Sports Xchange) - The Anaheim Ducks signed right winger Tim Jackman to a one-year contract extension through the 2015-16 season.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the Los Angeles Times reported Jackman will earn $700,000 next season.

The Toronto Maple Leafs recalled defenseman Andrew MacWilliam on an emergency basis from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

MacWilliam, 24, has skated in 45 games with the Marlies this season, collecting four points (one goal, three assists) and 34 penalty minutes.

The Carolina Hurricanes reassigned defenseman Michal Jordan to the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League.

Jordan, 24, appeared in each of the Hurricanes' three games following his most recent recall on Feb. 13. He earned three points during the stint, including his first NHL goal on Monday night at Ottawa.

The Calgary Flames recalled center Markus Granlund from the Adirondack Flames of the American Hockey League.

The Finnish-born Granlund has played 33 games for Calgary this season, recording five goals and eight assists.

The Boston Bruins placed defenseman Kevan Miller on injured reserve and recalled forward Brian Ferlin from Providence of the AHL, the team announced.

Miller injured his right shoulder in Monday's game.

Ferlin will be eligible for Friday's game against the Blues. (Editing by Frank Pingue)
