Wolverines drop pair at home Friday night

[February 20, 2015]  LINCOLN - The West Lincoln-Broadwell Wolverines, Friday night dropped both the fifth and sixth grade games to a Peoria area travel team, the Palidins.

In the opener, WLB 's fifth grade squad (3-2) fell 45-6.

Brody Whiteman, Ethyn Bivin, and Daulton Miller each scored two points in the loss.

In the nightcap, the 6th graders (2-2) lost by a final of 51-41.

Lucas Konczyk led his team with 21 points while Patrick McCraith netted seven. Also scoring for the Wolverines in loss was, Whiteman (6), Brayden Saylor (5), Keyton Schmalshof (4), and Scotty Battin (3).

The Wolverines next host the Bruins of Mt. Pulaski on Monday with the first game tipping at 6:00 pm.
