[February 23, 2015]  LINCOLN - The Humane Society of Logan County and the Animal Protective League of Springfield often work together to assure that pets are spayed or neutered at a reasonable cost to the owners.

Spaying and neutering is a responsible act on the part of a pet owner, as it eliminates unwanted pet pregnancies, and therefore reduces the number of unwanted pets who may eventually end up in pounds or shelters.

For the month of February the APL will be offering a spay special for all female cats. Owners may have their female pet cats spayed for a cost of $25.00. The HSLC is also available to provide pet transportation to Springfield on Tuesday February 24th.

For more information or to make arrangements for your female cat, please call 217-737-4042.
