November 2015 Finance Meeting

[February 26, 2015]  LINCOLN - Logan County Safety Complex, Blue Room, November 10, 2014

Present: Chuck Ruben-Chairman; David Blankenship; Jan Schumacher; Bob Farmer; Rick Aylesworth; Andy Anderson;

Mr. Ruben called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Farmer, seconded by Mr. Aylesworth, to approve the minutes of the October 14, 2014 meeting as printed. Motion passed.

Copier Contract:

Mr. Ruben reported our copier contract with CDS expires in February, 2015. Mrs. Freese already sent the notice to CDS informing them we are going out for new proposals in December, 2014. Mr. Ruben would like to open bids for the copier contracts at the next Finance meeting (December 9, 2014). Mr. Ruben will call Mrs. Freese tomorrow to have her send out e-mail to all Departments Heads to inform them about the Copier Contracts.

Year-end Budget Dates:

Mr. Ruben reported he would like Mrs. Freese to send out a reminder to all Department Heads to remind them all bills submitted in December need to state if they are for FY 14 or FY 15. Mr. Ruben reported cutoff date for FY 14 Budget will be December 31, 2014. Mr. Ruben and Mr. Farmer have a meeting with the auditor on Monday, November 17, 2014.Mr.Ruben reported he will bring forward a motion on Thursday night for a budget adjustment for Vicki Dugan’s budget.

Mr. Anderson reviewed expenses for the committee. Mr. Anderson sees no concerns at this time.

Mr. Aylesworth reviewed revenues. Mr. Aylesworth reported replacement tax and gaming fees are up. Mr. Aylesworth asked what treasure and assessor’s fee is. Mr. Aylesworth also reported Circuit Clerk fees are down.

A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Aylesworth, to approve the bills. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting ended at 6:22 pm.
