Logan County Ambulance Meeting

Present: Rick Aylesworth; Bob Farmer; Gene Rohlfs; Emily Davenport; David Blankenship
Absent: Kevin Bateman; Steve Siltman


Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

A motion was made by Mrs. Davenport, seconded by Mr. Blankenship, to approve the minutes from October 6, 2014 as printed. Motion passed.

Vehicle Status Report - Nothing to report

Old Business:  Nothing to report.

New Business:  Nothing to report.

A motion was made by Mrs. Davenport, seconded by Mr. Rohlfs, to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:01 pm.

Logan County Sheriff's Meeting

Present: Rick Aylesworth; Bob Farmer; Gene Rohlfs; Emily Davenport; David Blankenship Absent: Kevin Bateman

Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to approve the minutes from October 6, 2014 as corrected. Motion passed.

Old Business:

Update on Safety Complex HVAC system and roof:

Mr. Bunner reported roof is done at the Safety Complex. Henson Robinson still needs to fix the door that leads out to the roof. HVAC System is working fine.

New Vehicles:

Mr. Bunner reported Sheriff's Department is getting ten Explorers by the end of the month.

New Business:

2014 Logan County Jail Inspection: Mr. Bunner reported 2014 Logan County Jail Inspection passed with flying colors.

Sheriff's Report:  Nothing further to report.

A motion was made by Mrs. Davenport, seconded by Mr. Blankenship, to pay the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Farmer, seconded by Mr. Rohlfs, to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:08 pm.

Logan County EMA Meeting

Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:08pm.


A motion was made by Mr. Blankenship, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to approve the minutes from October 6, 2014 as printed. Motion passed.

Mr. Caruthers and Mr. Fulscher presented the October, 2014 call report.

Church/Local Organizations Plans Development

Mr. Fulscher reported in the springtime he plans to share the plan to other Organizations around Logan County. Jefferson Church is finally done.

EMA Truck Bid:

Mr. Fulscher passed out 3 bids for EMA!Truck from local dealships. Mr. Fulscher reported Dodge was the lowest bid. A motion was made by Mr. Blankenship, seconded by Mrs. Davenport, to purchase a Dodge truck from Lincoln Chrysler for $18,012.00. Motion passed.

New Business:

Mr. Fulscher reported they are updating the recording system in the 911 room this should be happening in the next 60 to 90 days. Partial reimbursement from the state will be received for this project.

A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs seconded by Mr. Farmer, to pay the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Fanmer seconded by Mr. Rohlfs, to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:22 pm.

Logan County Coroner Meeting

Present: Rick Aylesworth; Bob Farmer; Dave Blankenship; Emily Davenport; Gene Rohlfs Absent: Kevin Bateman
Guests: John Bunner; Kendall Caruthers; Dan Fulscher; Doug Brooks; Andy Anderson; Bob Thomas

Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:23 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to approve the minutes from October 6, 2014 as printed. Motion passed.

Old Business:

Mr. Thomas presented the October call report. There were 24 deaths, with five requiring autopsies.

New Business:

Mr. Thomas hired a new deputy, Chris Sprague.

Mr. Thomas reported he met with Lincoln Rural last night regarding how they transport bodies. Lincoln Rural made it clear they will only transport in the pick-up truck. Mr. Thomas thinks it's best if the Coroner's office parts ways with Lincoln Rural and looks into other options. Mr. Thomas met with the funeral homes and they are willing to do it for the same amount of money.

Mr. Thomas presented the summary of expenses, reimbursements and balance sheet for review.

A motion was made by Mr. Farmer, seconded by Mr. Rohs. to approve the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mrs. Davenport, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:42 pm.
