Fourth Quarter Homes Sales Report

[January 08, 2015]  LINCOLN - The fourth quarter of 2014 saw similar home sales compared to 2013 for the same time period.

REALTORS in Logan County Board of REALTORS® sold 85 homes in the fourth quarter of 2014, 1 more than the 84 sold during the same time period in 2013.

The average selling price for homes in the 2014 time period was $90,911, up from $85,626 in 2013. Median prices were up, $80,000 compared to $68,250.

The length of time that the average home was on the market also stayed steady with the average "Days on Market" in 2014 182 days. This was 4 days quicker than the same time period in 2013.

The year 2014 saw the number of home increase compared to 2013. REALTORS in Logan County Board of REALTORS® sold 356 homes in 2014, 16 more than the 340 sold during the same time period in 2013.

The average selling price for homes in 2014 was $91,383, up from $88,639 in 2013. Median prices were up, $77,750 compared to $72,000.

The length of time that the average home was on the market a shorter time with the average "Days on Market" in 2014 173 days. This was 13 days quicker than the same time period in 2013.
