[January 21, 2015]  LINCOLN - Beginning January 28, 2015 the interior elevator at the Logan County Courthouse will be under repair and unavailable for use.

Repairs are expected to take 6-8 weeks. Because of this issue the Court and the County Offices located in the Courthouse are making accommodations for those who are unable to climb the stairs to the second and third floor.

General Division cases, which are normally heard on the third floor will be heard in Room 15, the first floor courtroom. Those persons who have cases scheduled in the Associate Division on the second floor and who are unable to climb the stairs may notify personnel from the Clerk of the Court’s Office located at a Help Desk located in the rotunda of the first floor of the building and arrangements will be made to have their case heard on the first floor.

All other persons with business with the County Offices located above the first floor of the Courthouse who are unable to climb the stairs to those offices should approach the Help Desk where personnel will assist them with their business.

These repairs will not affect the operation of the exterior elevator to the building which will allow access to those with disabilities to the first floor of the building.
