The Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation held its "Abe's Million" kick off fundraiser Saturday night at the Old Brickyard Grill and Pub in Mount Pulaski.

The purpose of "Abe's Million" campaign is to raise funds to completely restore the Mount Pulaski Historic Courthouse.

All in attendance enjoyed a lovely meal prepared by chef Nick Solomon and listened to the talented Milikin University Faculty Jazz Ensemble. Attendees had the chance to bid on an array of Abraham Lincoln inspired auction items. At the end of the evening Board Member, Doug Johnson announced the grand totals for the event. Silent auction items brought in 1230.00 and donations from Courthouse Supporters totaled 4080.00. The Courthouse Foundation was humbled by the turn out and success of the event.
