Fourth of July activities in Lincoln

[July 01, 2015]  The annual Children's Parade will take place starting on the south side of Scully Park with registration beginning at 9 a.m.

The parade will commence at approximately 10 a.m..  The route will be from Scully on South McLean Street to Wyatt Avenue, and then east to the Lincoln Park District Recreation Center parking lot at 1400 Railer Way.

Parade particpants may enter for the costume judging while at Scully Park.  The winners will be announced after the parade and water fun with the Lincoln Fire Department.

Everyone will also be treated to popcorn and cold water at the Rec.

The new Aquatic Center will be open on the Fourth and the evening will end with fire works on the back putting greens at the park district.
