[July 14, 2015]  July 13 (The Sports Xchange) - The Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday signed forward Taylor Beck to a one-year contract.

Beck was acquired by the Maple Leafs in a trade with the Nashville Predators on Sunday in exchange for forward Jamie Devane.

Last season, Beck collected 16 points (eight goals, eight assists) in 62 regular season games and also skated in five post-season games.

The Colorado Avalanche signed forward Mikko Rantanen to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Rantanen, 18, was Colorado's first-round pick (10th overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft last month.

The Minnesota Wild signed center Joel Eriksson Ek to a three-year, entry-level contract. Minnesota selected Eriksson Ek in the first round with the 20th pick in the NHL draft last month.

The Detroit Red Wings re-signed right winger Mitch Callahan to a one-year contract and agreed to terms with defenseman Nick Jensen on a two-year contract.

The Nashville Predators signed defenseman Anthony Bitetto to a one-year, two-way contract.
