A motion was made by Mr. Hepler, seconded by Mr. Ruben, to approve the minutes from the February 2, 2015 as printed. Motion passed.

Old Business:

Tree Project (AAA-4215) Update:
Mr. Rohlfs reported the bid came in higher than expected at $50,060. Hanson and the Division of Aeronautics will review and see if it can be accepted or not.

Fuel Farm Project (AAA-4317) update:
Mr. Rohlfs reported he received one bid. The bid came in at $216,180. This bid will be rejected and Mr. Rohlfs will try again.

Pavement Marking and Maintenance (AAA-4438) Update: Nothing to report.

Airport Farm Tree, Brush and Excavation:
Mr. Rohlfs reported the Airport Farm tree, brush and excavation is completed. Mr. Rohlfs reported now we have the slick waterway at the end of the airport by Halls. Mr. Rohlfs reported now we need to go around the corner and clean out the ditch. When there is work done on the ditch, the airport needs to pay for it even though it’s a county ditch. Mr. Aukamp believes he could use his equipment to do the work; however he does not think he can reach that back side (slope up against Hall’s property). If Mr. Aukamp uses his equipment he would need permission from Halls because he would need to go on his property. The committee discussed reliable companies to have complete this work.

New Business:

C&L Holzwarth, INC-Hanger Repair and Lease:
Chuck Holzwarth would like to repair damage done to his hangar from the extra heavy doors. Mr. Holzwarth would like to order icon doors. The estimated total cost for the project is $60,000-$65,000.

[to top of second column]

Mr. Holzwarth would like to extend his lease, which is up in 2025. Mr. Holzwarth would like to extend his lease by three years. A motion was made by Mr. Ruben, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to extend Mr. Holzwarth’s lease by 3 years. The new lease will expire in 2028. Motion passed. Mr. Rohlfs will take this item to the full board this month.

Hangar Door Repair: Nothing to report.
