[July 18, 2015]  LINCOLN - Douglas L. Willis, 50, of Lincoln passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at his home.

Visitation: From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta

Service: Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the funeral home

Obituary

Lincoln -- Douglas L. Willis, 50, of Lincoln passed away on July 14, 2015 at his home.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Willis will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Quiram Peasley Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Atlanta Cemetery.

Douglas Lowell Willis was born on January 4, 1965, in Bloomington, the son of Richard E. and Donna J. Nichols Willis.

Doug is survived by his father, Richard Willis, of Arrowsmith; his children: Douglas A. (Ashley Carlson) Willis of Bloomington, Anthony Lowell (Jennifer Krueger) Willis of McLean, Michelle (Todd) Russell of Armington, and Treffin James Cole (Emily Barnes) Willis of Delavan; 13 grandchildren; and two brothers: Lonnie (Kimberly) Willis of Hudson and Kevin Willis of Lincoln.

Funeral Director

Mr. Willis was preceded in death by his mother Donna J. Willis ; cousin Jerri Lynn Dodd; and grandfather Bill Willis.
 

Doug was employed by Harold Goodman Excavating & Trucking. He was a member of Atlanta Christian Church and ABATE.

He loved is kids and grandkids, motorcycles, music and semi-trucks.

Memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.
