[July 21, 2015]  LINCOLN - Blue Room, Logan County Safety Complex April 6, 2015

Present: Gene Rohlfs; Rick Aylesworth; David Blankenship, Bob Farmer, Chuck Ruben, Scott Schaffenacker
Absent: Dave Helper
Guests: Curt Fox; Sam Evans

Mr. Rohlfs called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Ruben, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to approve the minutes from the March 5, 2015 meeting as printed. Motion passed.

Old Business:

Tree Project Update:
Mr. Rohlfs reported tree project is going well. All the removal and grinding is done. They still need to back fill, plant trees that were removed and the topping of the remaining trees still needs to be done. Mrs. Dugan created a line item for the tree project (1112-00-49016- Revenues and 112-00-59016-Expenditures). The committee discussed 112-00-53104-Grant/AAA 4033 Site Prep.
 


Fuel Farm Update: Nothing to report.

Pavement Marking and Maintenance (AAA-4438) Update: Nothing to report.

New Business:

Ditch along Halls-Cleaning:
Mr. Rohlfs handed out proposals from Harold Goodman Inc and Goodman Excavating. Harold Goodman’s proposal is for digging 800 feet of dirt and hauling away. Mr. Rohlfs will talk to Mr. Aukamp or Road Commissioner. Mr. Rohlfs plans to asked Dennis Rawlow or Bret Aukamp if they can take a seeder out to replant grass.

A motion was made by Mr. Aylesworth, seconded by Ruben, to accept the Harold Goodman Inc bid for $3,000.Motion passed.

They will haul away the dirt to Hall’s property.

Mr. Aukamp showed up at the meeting. Mr. Aukamp reported Mr. Rohlfs needs to notify East Lincoln Township. Mr. Rohlfs will call Rod Alberts.

Farm Timber Property:
Mr. Ruben suggested moving forward with the variance prior to advertising the land for sale. Mr. Ruben will talk about this item in Finance next Tuesday. Keep on agenda.

Airport Report:
Mr. Evans is ready to start mowing. Mr. Evans reported the Unicom Radio will not transmit but will receive. Mr. Rohlfs will purchase one handheld radio for the airport. Mr. Rohlfs reported 413 gallons of fuel were sold in March. Nothing further to report.

HIF Report: Nothing to report.

Farm Report: Nothing to report.

Budget Review: No concerns at this time.

A motion was made by Mr. Aylesworth, seconded by Mr. Schaffenacker, to approve the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Aylesworth, seconded by Mr. Ruben to adjourn. Motion passed. Meeting ended at 7:37 pm.
