Summer is here and the month of June has been very busy 215 emergency runs for the month is our busiest so far in 2015.

Heavy rains have kept us busy with several water rescue calls being dispatched in the county and the city.

One driver ventured too far in the water and his jeep was washed off the road into a drainage ditch over 5 feet deep.  Assistance was needed with the boat.

In Lincoln cars traveling too fast into standing water stall out the cars and assistance is needed to get people from their cars.

As a reminder, do not drive through flooded roadways the road may be missing and severe damage to your car can result. High water is also a hazard to responders.
