			For folks who are anxiously
waiting, it appears that the remodel for the Pink Shutter in Lincoln
is on track, and the store should re-open this coming Saturday,
August 1. LDN stopped by on Monday to see manager Jennifer
Heidbreder and found work well underway. The store is getting new
carpet, new paint, some new shelving and other improvements.

A new door has been added connecting the sales floor to a storage
room next door, and the back work area in the store is getting some
			sprucing up as well.

Staff from the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Maintenance
Department was busy putting up some new shelving. As many may
already know, the Pink Shutter is owned by ALMH and the proceeds of
all sales at the Shutter are utilized by the ALMH Auxiliary to
provide non-medical, extra care services to patients at the
hospital, including to those receiving IV Chemotherapy.
