MINIER
- Minier Corn Daze is almost here! Sunday, August 2 marks the date
for the 2015 town-wide celebration. The day will be filled with
activities for the whole family. Starting the day is a community
church service featuring Gospel Strings. After the service, the
day’s activities will be in full gear.

Food vendors will be serving up the noon meal. Enjoy all your
favorite, fun food fare – corn dogs, elephant ears, corn fritters,
lemon shake ups, grilled sandwiches, and ice cream treats galore!
Then top the meal off with free, fresh sweet corn dipped in butter!
And, you can have seconds and thirds.
Craft vendors will have a variety of booths set up for your shopping
pleasure. The Vendor Fair runs all day. Don’t miss the kids
activities: mini tractor pull, balloon artist, face painting, and
other games. And, appearing for the second year is our Magical
Magician Chris Bohn with a show that will dazzle all.
For the adults, a tractor pull, a car cruise-in, an antique tractor and antique
engine display will provide much to enjoy and bring back a bit of nostalgia.
Throughout the afternoon local talent will provide entertainment on the stage.
Trams will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for visitors’ convenience.
