Butler takes fourth in state in American Legion Essay Contest

[July 31, 2015]  LINCOLN - Noah Butler, son of Timothy and Jessie Butler of Beason won a Department Award for his American Legion Auxiliary Essay "What new amendment should be added to the U.S. Constitution?"

Noah was a winner on the local, district and division level before placing 4th in the state of Illinois, winning a $125 cash award. Noah was sponsored by the Logan County American Legion, Unit #263, Lincoln. He attends Zion Lutheran School and will be a fifth-grader in the fall.
