West Lincoln-Broadwell School had their annual end of school year Field Day on Wednesday.

The day was filled with lots of fun and some special food.

Outside there were fun events that included Tykes on Bikes for the littler ones, and a bounce house and a large slide for all the age groups.

The Pre-schoolers had the run of all the inflatables for the first hour of the day.

The graduating eighth-graders were given a private hour to play beginning at 11 a.m.

The first through seventh-graders shared the play area in the afternoon.

The piles of shoes laying on the ground spoke to the popularity of the outdoor inflatables with the giant slide being perhaps the most popular. All day long, one could see kids going up the slide stairs, down the slide, and then back up again.

Chris Graue and his crew were there to offer some grilled goods for everyone.

Another well-known griller/smoker, Brad Luckhart, was also on hand to help out.

Also, there were many other sweet treats including cotton candy, snow cones and more.

West Lincoln Broadwell will host an Honors Program on Thursday, and Friday will be the final day of school making the beginning of another summer break in Logan County.
