GOOD NEWS In Concert Monday night

[June 03, 2015]  LINCOLN - GOOD NEWS from Lincoln Christian Church in Lincoln, will be in concert at Lincoln Christian Church, 204 N McLean St, on Monday, June 8, at 7:00 p.m.

The concert, entitled “UNashamed”, is based on Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to all who believe.” Through a collection of worship songs, brief drama sketches, and scripture, “UNashamed” is a relevant message for all ages that will encourage and uplift.

The songs are great arrangements from such Christian recording artists and worship leaders as Building 429, Newsboys, Unspoken, Phil Wickham, Josh Wilson, Chris August and For King and Country.

GOOD NEWS is under the direction of Laurin L. Hill, worship minister at Lincoln Christian Church.

GOOD NEWS consists of 43 students – eighth grade thru high school grads, which includes a 37-voice Choir, five-piece Worship Band, T.R.A.S.H., (a percussion ensemble which creates unique and amazing rhythms using found objects made of plastic and metal), Drama Team, and Student Tech Crü.

GOOD NEWS will be on an eight-day tour, June 9-16, in Kansas, Colorado, Texas, Missouri, and Illinois.

The 2015 edition of GOOD NEWS is excited to join the more than 40-year legacy of traveling student ensembles from Lincoln Christian Church sharing the good news of Jesus’ love across the United States and Canada since 1971.
