[June 09, 2015]  LINCOLN - On Friday afternoon the Logan County Treasurer’s office received the real estate tax file, and will now proceed with processing and printing the 2014 payable in 2015 tax bills. Tax bills for Logan County should be in the mail by next week.

This year the mailing envelopes will take on a different look. Your tax bills now will be in a white envelope, with printed above the address window in red, “tax bill enclosed”. The change was made to save on the cost of envelopes. The original gold envelopes were specially made to size and color, which the cost was substantially higher than the current white window envelope. As always, looking for ways to save your tax dollars.

We will be mailing the tax bills by the middle of next week, with a first installment due date of July 22, 2015. The second installment due date of September 1, 2015.

Please feel free to call the office or view my website at co.logan.il.us/treasurer/ for current information about your taxes.
