[June 13, 2015]  LINCOLN - Blue Room - Logan County Safety Complex January 8, 2015

Logan County Coroner Meeting


Present: Rick Aylesworth; Bob Farmer; Gene Rohlfs; David Blankenship; Scott Schaffenacker;
Absent : Emily Davenport
Guests: Bob Thomas

Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:21 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Farmer to approve the minutes from December 4, 2014 as printed. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Schaffenacker, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to approve the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.

Old Business:

Mr. Thomas presented the December call report. There were 29 deaths, with 3 requiring autopsies. There were 4 transports.

New Business:

Mr. Thomas would use car from the sheriff's department. Mr. Thomas would also like to buy a van to use when transporting bodies. When Mr. Thomas' deputies transport, he would like to pay them extra for the transport. Mr. Thomas needs to talk to Mrs. Dugan on the financial side of buying a van and paying extra. The committee would like to keep this on the agenda for next month.

Mr. Thomas presented the summary of expenses, end of year call report and autopsy and transport report.

A motion was made by Mr. Blankenship seconded by Mr. Rohlfs, to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:43 pm.



Logan County EMA Meeting

Present: Rick Aylesworth; Robert Farmer; Scott Schaffenacker; Dave Blankenship; Gene Rohlfs Absent: Dave Hepler; Emily Davenport
Guests: Terry Storer; Dan Fulscher

Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Blankenship, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to approve the minutes from December 4, 2014 as printed. Motion passed.

Mr. Storer presented the December, 2014 call report.

Weather Update: Mr. Storer discussed the winter weather we've been having.

Air Conditioner - Server Room: Mr. Storer reported the 911 computer room has been around 78 degrees. This is creating heat load on the servers. Mr. Fulscher addressed this issue with Building and Grounds.

New Business:

Mr. Storer mentioned the boil order for the village of Elkhart.

A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to pay the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Schaffenacker, seconded by Mr. Blankenship to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:12 pm.

Logan County Ambulance Meeting

Present: Rick Aylesworth; Bob Farmer; Scott Schaffenacker; David Blankenship; Gene Rohlfs

Guests: Steve Siltman

Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:12 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Schaffenacker, to approve the minutes from December 4, 2014 as printed. Motion passed.

Mr. Siltman presented the December 2014 call report. There were 449 calls in December. Calls for ALS - 170 calls in December. Calls for BLS - 67 calls in December.

Quarterly Budget Report - Mr. Siltman presented the quarterly budget report.

Vehicle Status Report - Mr. Siltman reported the 99 International is in Springfield with rear-end issues.

Old Business: Nothing to report.

New Business: Nothing to report.

A motion was made by Mr. Blankenship, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:20 pm.


Logan County Sheriff's Meeting

Present: Rick Aylesworth; Bob Farmer; Gene Rohlfs; David Blankenship; Scott Schaffenacker
Absent: Emily Davenport
Guests: Sheriff Nichols

Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:44 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Schaffenacker to approve the minutes from December 4, 2014 as printed. Motion passed.

Old Business:

New Vehicles: Mr. Nichols reported the 10 Explorers will be delivered the first week of February. Mr. Nichols explained what the new vehicles will look like. The committee will vote on the accessories for the new vehicles next month.

 



New Business:

Mr. Nichols reported there is a bad thermostat in the jail. Derek has been working on this issue.

Sheriffs Report: Nothing to report.

A motion was made by Mr. Farmer, seconded by Mr. Rohlfs, to pay the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Blankenship, seconded by Mr. Schaffenacker, to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:59 pm.
