[June 18, 2015]  LINCOLN - Beginning today (Wednesday, June 10) and extending through the next two weeks the east one-half block of Clinton Street will be closed as part of the ongoing construction at the Lincoln Grand 8 Theater site.

The closure is required in order to have equipment in the proper place for construction of the south wall of the theater complex.

Closure will be daily from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. the street will be re-opened for weekend traffic on Saturday and Sunday.

Beginning June 22 and running through July 3rd the 200 block of South Kickapoo will be closed as part of the ongoing construction project.

The closure is needed as the steel girders for the project are moved into place for the completion of the framework of the building.

Street closure dates may alter according to weather condition.  It is also expected that the two streets will not be closed at the same time.  Therefore, if the Clinton Street work runs over two weeks, the Kickapoo Street closure may be delayed.
