[June 26, 2015]  June 25 (The Sports Xchange) - The Memphis Grizzlies acquired forward Matt Barnes from the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday in exchange for guard Luke Ridnour.

Ridnour didn't stay in Charlotte long as the Hornets then traded him and a conditional 2016 second-round draft pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder for guard Jeremy Lamb. The latter deal comes one day after Ridnour was traded by the Orlando Magic to the Grizzlies.

All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge is not expected to re-sign with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to ESPN.

Wednesday's trade of forward Nicolas Batum to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for center Noah Vonleh and guard/forward Gerald Henderson may have been an indication of Portland's belief that Aldridge will leave by the July 1 start of free agency.

The Chicago Bulls hired Pete Myers as assistant coach on Fred Hoiberg's coaching staff.

Myers, 51, returns to Chicago for his second stint with the Bulls after spending three seasons (2011-2014) with the Golden State Warriors, where he served as an assistant on former coach Mark Jackson's staff. (Editing by Frank Pingue)
