The St. Louis Cardinals activated right-hander Lance Lynn from
the 15-day disabled list.
Lynn, out with a right forearm strain, was scheduled to start
Thursday night's series finale in Miami against the Marlins.

The New York Yankees reinstated second baseman Stephen Drew from
the paternity list.
Drew went on leave Tuesday and missed the last two games. He is
hitting just .190, but has 11 home runs and 24 RBIs this season.

The Texas Rangers recalled right-hander Spencer Patton from
Triple-A Round Rock and optioned outfielder Michael Choice to
the same minor league team.
Choice was recalled before Wednesday's game and went 0-for-1 and
committed an error. This is Patton's third stint with the
