[June 30, 2015]  LINCOLN - The Healthy Communities Partnership Alcohol Tobacco and Other Destructive Behaviors Task Force will sponsor Mental Health First Aid Training day at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital on July 30th.

The event will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Steinfort A/B room at ALMH.

This eight hour training course is designed to teach participants key skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.

This will include risk factors and warning signs of a mental health crisis

The cost of the training will include a working lunch and a training handbook for only $10 for the day.

Pre-registration is required as there is limited capacity.  Please contact Emily Hauter at 217-735-2317 ext 235 or at ehauter@lcdph.org on or before July 6th.

A second class may be scheduled once capacity is reached for the first class.  Registrants who are not permitted in the first class will be placed on a waiting list for a second class.  Once there are enough registrants for that second class a date will be announced.
