“With New Salem, the world’s largest covered wagon, the Lincoln
Presidential Museum, the Tremont Turkey Festival and so much more,
Central Illinois has an abundance of amazing tourist attractions,”
Butler said. “I am glad to have the chance to serve on committees
that help promote Illinois tourism, while improving the
transportation infrastructure that carries our families and our
visitors.”
In the House, Butler will serve on the Committees on Tourism and
Conventions; Museums, Arts and Cultural Enhancement; Transportation
Regulation Roads and Bridges; Transportation Vehicle Safety; and the
Environment.
Butler also encouraged 87th district residents to contact him at his
Springfield constituent service office. The office, located in room
1128-E of the Stratton Office Building next to the State Capitol,
can be reached by telephone at (217) 782-0053. The office mailing
address is 401 S. Spring Street, Room 1128-E, Springfield, IL 62706.
