[March 09, 2015]  March 8 (The Sports Xchange) - The Miami Heat signed forward Michael Beasley to a second 10-day contract Sunday.

Beasley, who was originally signed to a 10-day contract by the Heat on Feb. 26, has appeared in six games with Miami this season. He has averaged 10.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 23.6 minutes while shooting 44.6 percent from the field.

The Dallas Mavericks recalled center/forward Dwight Powell from the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League.

Powell has appeared in 19 games for the Mavs this season, averaging 3.5 points and 2.2 rebounds.

The Los Angeles Clippers signed veteran point guard Nate Robinson to a 10-day contract. The 30-year-old averaged 5.8 points and 2.3 assists in 33 games for Denver earlier this season.

Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker missed his 19th consecutive game with a left knee injury, but coach Steve Clifford said Walker could return as soon as the team's home game against Sacramento on Wednesday.

The Orlando Magic played their second straight game without leading scorer Nikola Vucevic, who is out with a sprained ankle.
