[March 11, 2015]  March 10 (The Sports Xchange) - The New York Rangers agreed to terms with forward Adam Tambellini on an entry-level contract.

A 2013 third-round pick, Tambellini, 20, skated in 65 games with the Calgary Hitmen of the Western Hockey League this season, registering 45 goals and 34 assists for 79 points, along with a plus-40 rating and 26 penalty minutes.

The Philadelphia Flyers signed center Danick Martel to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The deal starts with the 2015-16 season, the team announced Tuesday.

The Dallas Stars signed center Devin Shore to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Shore, 20, was a second-round pick by the Stars in 2012, and scored 35 points in 39 games as a junior at the University of Maine this season. In 112 career games for Maine, he scored 104 points (34 goals, 70 assists).

Defenseman Nate Schmidt was recalled by the Washington Capitals from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.

Schmidt, 23, has registered three assists in a career-high 33 games with Washington this season.

The Edmonton Oilers sent defenseman Jordan Oesterle to Oklahoma City of the American Hockey League on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old Oesterle has played in six games for the Oilers this season and had an assist on March 3 against the Los Angeles Kings for his first NHL point.

The Toronto Maple Leafs reassigned defenseman Petter Granberg to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

Granberg, 22, is pointless in seven games with the Maple Leafs this season. He has 12 points (one goal, 11 assists) and 20 penalty minutes in 35 games with the Marlies. (Editing by Frank Pingue)
