[March 12, 2015]  March 11 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Wednesday's National Hockey League games:

Rangers 3, Capitals 1

New York Rangers backup goalie Cam Talbot played his second dominant game in 24 hours, stopping 28-of-29 shots to earn a victory over Washington at the Verizon Center.

Left winger Carl Hagelin and center J.T. Milller scored first-period goals, and right winger Martin St Louis added an insurance goal in the third.

Talbot, an undrafted 27-year-old, did the rest as the Rangers improved to 13-2-3 without starting goaltender Henrik Lundqvist, who remains sidelined due to a neck injury.
