[March 20, 2015]  MOUNT PULASKI - Blake Collier eyes the pitch and ends up driving it to the outfield for a single in the Toppers 12-5 loss to Havana Thursday afternoon.

Blake Collier would have two hits on the day, the other one a triple.

The Toppers trailed the Ducks 2-1 early in the game with Blake Collier on the mound. Collier would give up four more runs before exiting the mound with the score 6-2 in favor of Havana after five innings. Beau Collier's two-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning kept the Toppers hopes alive as Mount Pulaski mounted a small comeback and made the score 7-5.

However, as the rain continued to fall, the temperature dropped and the Ducks bats came alive again. Havana put five runs on the board in the seventh inning off Mt. Pulaski's Caleb Przykopanksi and that sealed the 12-5 victory for the visitors.

Beau Collier and Brayden Curry also had two hits for Mount Pulaski, while Brett Huff and Matthew Amidon each had one hit. Michael Lowery had two runs scored for the Toppers.

The Toppers travel to Jacksonville to take on Ottawa Marquette at 5 p.m. tonight at Lenz Field.
