LC Coach Mark Tippett: ISU has a very strong, experienced team. They hit the ball extremely well and played a solid game defensively. We struggled early in set one, but as it went on we gradually stepped up our level of play to match theirs and, although we did not win a set, it was a very competitive match. Set three was an even battle all the way with both teams trading sideouts on strong offensive attacks the entire set. We held off a couple of set point opportiunities and fought hard on every point. I was very proud of our effort in this match, and I am confident that we are a better team moving forward.

Lincoln is off this weekend due to the cancellation of an event at St. Ambrose University. Lincoln will travel to St. Louis March 27-29 for the MWPVC Conference Championship Tournament.
