HOLY WEEK & EASTER EVENTS


Palm Sunday, March 29 at 8:00 a.m. with a Communion & Meditation Service. The Liturgy of The Palms will be celebrated at the 10:30 a.m. worship service. That evening at 6:00 p.m. a communion-mediation service will be held. All Holy Week services will be held in the sanctuary of St. John UCC, 204 7th Street in Lincoln and are open to the public.
Maundy Thursday Services, April 2nd at 7:00 p.m. worship with Communion and Foot Washing service.
Good Friday, April 3rd a Tenebrae Service will be at 7:00 p.m.
Easter Sunday, April 5th, will begin with a 6:30 a.m. union Sunrise Service on the Ralph Gale Ball Field (across from Lincoln Junior High School) with Pastor Adam Quine of the First Presbyterian Church of Lincoln and Pastor Jan Johnson of St. John’s leading the worship. The public is invited to join us.
Easter celebration will continue at 8:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of St. John’s with an Easter breakfast, followed by Sunday School at 9:00 and the Resurrection Worship Service with communion at 10:30 a.m.
