[March 25, 2015]  Dear Brother and Sister,

Once again, we are nearing the time of year when we celebrate that great and powerful event… the Resurrection of Jesus Christ!

If there is anything that sets Christianity apart from all the religions of the world, it is the Resurrection. The Bible tells us that “the wages of sin is death,” and even though Jesus Christ died on the Cross, He was taking our penalty upon Him. Death could not hold Him in the grave because it had no right or authority to do so!

We live in a world filled with great challenges. I don’t have to use this space to recite the news headlines we are seeing on a daily basis which are filled with people of God willing to lay down their lives for the sake of Christ.

I want to encourage you today to remember the power of the Resurrection, and realize that one day we will all die unless Jesus comes first. However, it is because of the Resurrection that we are filled with hope concerning the wonderful future we have eternally with Jesus Christ!

I’m requesting that you to take a little extra time to pray for those who are being persecuted around the world because of their love of Jesus Christ. The Word is clear that the Christian may even at times be hated because of the one they love, but it WILL be worth it all one day.

Please join us to worship on Resurrection Sunday for a special Easter Celebration.
