Mount Pulaski Honeybears win State Championship
Augusta Southeastern Suns First Runner Up

[March 24, 2015]  MOUNT PULASKI -  Mount Pulaski's Honeybears played Augusta Southeastern Suns for the 8-2A Volleyball State Championship held at Auburn High School on Tuesday night. In two sets, the girls won the first with a score of 25-18 and the second with a final score of 25-14.

Mount Pulaski was led by Skylar Hayes with 12 kills, 16 digs and 6 service points. Abigail Fitzpatrick had 8 kills, 9 digs and 7 service points for the Honeybears. Olivia Knoedler had 9 service points and 5 digs while setter Callie Anderson had 20 assists for Mount Pulaski. Isabella Wade contributed 6 service points and 4 digs for the state champions.

Mount Pulaski finishes the season on top with a 24-3 record.

Augusta Southeastern finished their season 20-3.
