Logan County Democrats Chair Rebecca Drake confirms endorsement of Rob Mellon

[May 11, 2015]  LINCOLN - The Logan County Democrats have announced they are endorsing Rob Mellon as the Democratic candidate in the 18th US Congressional District Special Election.

Mellon is a high school teacher, Army officer, husband and father. His wife is a marathon runner. His appearance at the local Democrats Saturday meeting convinced attendees that Mellon is the best candidate in the primary. He addressed his main issues, such as infrastructure that would improve severe bridge and road conditions as well as provide employment opportunities.

Mr. Mellon is also scheduled to visit Bill Gossett and Judy Busby on a local radio station on May 27th at 8:15 a.m. The station is found at 96.3 FM.
