Lincoln Community High School Scholarship Foundation announces 2015 recipients

[May 12, 2015]  LINCOLN - The Lincoln Community High School Scholarship Foundation has been created to enrich lifelong learning programs and provide educational opportunities for LCHS students. The Foundation provides funds beyond the normal operating budget for community educational programs not available through tax revenues.

The Foundation is a non-profit, independent, tax exempt organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, who are business and professional members of the community with a commitment to education.

The Lincoln Community High School Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors met on Thursday, May 7, 2015 and made their scholarship selections from student applications from the Senior Class of 2015. Winners are:

The Arthur and Luella Gimbel Scholarship ($5,000) was awarded to Steven Schleich.

The LeRoy Allison Memorial Scholarship ($1,500) was awarded to Alexandria Tibbs.

The Vincent Beggs Scholarship ($1,000) was awarded to Jason Berglin, Brittany Crabtree, Christopher Duong, Madison Ewald, Alexis Morris, and Heather VanCleve.

The Lincoln Community High School Scholarship Foundation Scholarship ($500) was awarded to Leah Anderson, Naomi Bailey, Kevin Barker, Aaron Butler, Abigail Cline, William Cook, Samantha Cooley, Andrew Coop, Trenton Crawford, Payton Ebelherr, Cameron Halpin, Katherine Harris, Ian Herzog, Victoria Hoban, Megan Jackson, Joshua Mangano, Kourtney McAllister, Emma Nobbe, Elizabeth Olson, Natalie Oltmanns, Alison Pagel, Jordan Perry, Brighton Robbins, James Sielaff, Ty Tucker, and Jacey White.

The Edna Dehner Scholarship ($500) was awarded to Shelby Bohannon, Ashlyn Carroll, Brooke Harnacke, Jenna Irwin, Brittany Smith, Emery Walters, Grace Walters, and Caitlin Williams.
