[May 23, 2015]  LINCOLN - A resurfacing project is being planned for two-and-one-quarter miles of Primm Road on the south edge of Lincoln. The work will be from the south city limits of Lincoln to 1300th Street. The road will remain open to traffic during the entire project, but the road will be reduced to one lane.

The project is scheduled to begin on May 11th and is expected to last through July.

The project was awarded to Illinois Valley Paving located in Springfield, Illinois. The cost of the project is approximately $788,000. Funding will come from Logan County’s allotment of federal transportation funds.

Cooperation and patience is always appreciated during the construction season as we continue to improve the safety of our roads and bridges.
