[May 29, 2015]  LINCOLN - Dean D. Lowman, 86, of Lincoln passed away at 3:55 a.m. on May 28, 2015 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Visitation: Tuesday, June 2, one hour prior to the service at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln

Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday June 2, at the funeral home

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday June 2, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln with Rev. Carroll Richards officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Cremation rites will follow the service, a burial at Old Union Cemetery in Lincoln will be held at a later date.

Obituary

Dean D. Lowman, 86, of Lincoln passed away at 3:55 a.m. on May 28, 2015 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Dean was born on March 30, 1929 in Lincoln; son of George Herbert and Bertha Hermina Meyers Lowman. He was united in marriage to Carol Elkins on November 11, 1949 in Lincoln. She survives in Lincoln.

Other survivors include his children: Cynthia Lynn (Michael) Gordon of Portland, OR; Rodney Dean (Rita) Lowman of Lincoln; Wendell Kevin (Gloria) Lowman of Hesperia, CA; Stuart Lee (Kathy) Lowman of Hesperia, CA; Stephanie Ann (Matt) Sheftick of Lake Elsinore, CA; two brothers: Dale (Ida) Lowman of Springfield and Robert (Georgia) Lowman of Florida; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren . He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister: Blanche Baldwin; one brother Wayne Lowman.

Dean was in the floor covering business for 32 years in California. He loved to travel, go fishing, golfing, hunting with his brother, and enjoyed the numerous jobs he held growing up.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday June 2, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln with Rev. Carroll Richards officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Cremation rites will follow the service, a burial at Old Union Cemetery in Lincoln will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be given to The American Cancer Society.
