[November 03, 2015]  LINCOLN - September Airport and Farm Meeting, Blue Room, Logan County Safety Complex August 31, 2015

Present: Gene Rohlfs; Rick Aylesworth; David Blankenship, Chuck Ruben, Scott Schaffenacker Absent: Bob Farmer, Dave Hepler
Guests: Curt Fox

Mr. Rohlfs called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Aylesworth, seconded by Mr. Ruben, to approve the minutes from the August 3, 2015 meeting as corrected. Motion passed.

Old Business:

1) Pavement Marking and Maintenance (AAA-4438) Update: The project is postponed due to a DBE Requirement. It was not included in the bid and IDOT is giving the company time to respond to the request.
 

2) Shrub Trimming/Removal: Corey Leesman Lawn Service is coming to take a look at it on September 1st. The hope is still to have the stump cut below ground level so it can be covered back over.

3) 2015/2016 Budget: The language of community support is in the Farm account. Mr. Rohlfs read his first draft of potential criteria to qualify for the community support fund. Board members discussed which wording to use in the criteria versus the application.

New Business: Nothing to report.

Airport Report: Unknown fuel usage amount. Mr. Fox explained the WIFI in the administration building is not working correctly; it asked for a password and to set up an account in order to connect. Mr. Rohlfs expressed concerns over the bill costs, also. Mr. Rohlfs will get together with the Frontier representative and discuss these issues.

HIF Report: Nothing to report. Farm Report: Nothing to report.

Budget Review: No concerns at this time.

A motion was made by Mr. Ruben, seconded by Mr. Blankenship, to approve the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.

Public Comments: None

A motion was made by Mr. Aylesworth, seconded by Mr. Schaffenacker to adjourn. Motion passed. Meeting ended at 7:29 pm.
