Present: Scott Schaffenacker; Kevin Bateman; Andy Anderson; David Hepler; Emily Davenport; Jan Schumacher

Absent: None

Guests: Kelly Kale, Jane Whiteman

Mr. Schaffenacker called the meeting to order at 6:10 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Bateman, seconded by Mr. Anderson to approve the minutes from August 12, 2015 as printed. Motion passed.

Old Business:

1. Pea Gravel:
Mr. Schaffenacker stated that they still have pea gravel to spread. Mr. Bateman suggested scooping it and putting it over the fence; he discussed having community service people, and/or inmates, go over with a wheelbarrow to clean up the extra pea gravel. Mr. Schaffenacker made a note to check the invoices to see how much rock has been delivered and how much it cost.

2. 2016 Budget: Nothing to report.

3. Computer upgrade: Nothing to report.

4. Roof repair options: Mr. Anderson would like all 12 Board members to come in person to see the roof. He saw safety concerns about the water leaking into the electrical outlets, the bowing, and holes. A bid from Henson Robinson to fix it correctly with a 20 year warranty is $35,000.

5. Logan County Animal Rescue Veterinary Reimbursement: Mrs. Kale reported that as long as there is a written report of services performed on animals that get adopted, there shouldn’t be a problem getting reimbursement.

New Business: Nothing to report.

Administrator/Warden’s report: Mrs. Kale reported they have been working on the gravel and aluminum cans. She is concerned about the vents and ceiling.

Budget: No concerns at this time.

Public Comments: none.

Mrs. Schumacher discussed looking into the amount of the current electric bill and the reason behind last month’s payment being too small. A motion was made by Mr. Hepler, seconded by Mrs. Schumacher to pay the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Hepler, to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 6:44 pm.
